Why Everyone Should Visit Ft. Lauderdale

Boat sitting in water in Ft. Lauderdale

Dubbed the Venice of America, Ft. Lauderdale is located right on the Atlantic coast and features canals and waterways, with miles of beaches. Residents and visitors alike cozy up on the sand or swim in the warm waters nearly 12 months out of the year. Several beaches are known to be perfect for snorkelers, scuba divers and lobster chasers, but if you’re not into seafaring fun, our Storage Specialists have helped us make a list of what they like to do on the weekends.

If indoor options are more your style, try the African American Library and Cultural Center, or the Museum of Discovery and Science. For families with children, check out Funderdome or take a ride on the Fort Lauderdale Sun Trolley. And, you definitely don’t want to miss a swamp tour to really get a glimpse at the Everglades and the Florida environment. Our Storage Specialists have also noted their love for Ft. Lauderdale’s culinary scene, and some favorites are Raco’s Tacos Los Olas, Jet’s Pizza, The Breakers Palm Beach and Halper’s Steak & Seafood.

Whether you are a snow bird here for the winter or live in Ft. Lauderdale year round, the beaches and views never get old. We love being a part of this neighborhood and look forward to providing our Florida customers with exceptional storage service.
