They give zero leeway the same day payment is due if you don't pay by tge end of the day they're already locking you out and tacking on late fees. They also have these people that come in with tractor trailers that block up everything. There's been numerous times I couldn't get out the facility because there we're people unloading appliances and just putting them any and everywhere blocking the way to exit. I call the office to let them know and nothing gets done. It's a constant problem in the Perth Amboy facility.

The staff on-site is excellent, my move-in was seamless, and I'm happy with my storage unit. However, if you are considering this location, I would avoid renting online & speak to someone in-person. Context: In an online promotion, I was promised two free months but the lease I was originally provided did not honor that. I asked for an edit multiple times & was ignored. Due to moving deadlines, I was pressured to sign the lease without the edits. I was ghosted by customer service until I left a 2-star review & then my concerns were finally addressed. Regardless, I'm glad that they've honored my original agreement & I now have a new lease in place at a convenient, clean, safe storage facility.

The working from home customer service needs to be canceled. The few females I've talked to were very nasty and rude. One female you could damn near here her rolling around in her bed, her name started with an R. I think she said Rayann. She was being a smart ass, real attitudy like she had a problem with me asking questions. She wouldn't have dared been rude like that to me in person. On the other had I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Eric as well, I spoke to him over the phone a few times and he was always helpful, never sounding like he's under the covers in the bed, and he was never rude once. If ever I need to speak to customer service again, I hope the guy Eric answers the call. He knows how to work from home doing customer service. Thank you Eric your customer relations skills are a 10. Everytime someone gives a not so great review, they always respond back saying we have no record of you being a customer. But you got a record of accepting my money for the past five years. This company needs better customer service amongst other things.

Revised: This issue was quickly fixed by management. A refund was issued. All good. (This place will ultimately charge for storage you didn't used and not provide you with refund. Complete scam. They hustle to provide a deposit with all you information and even if you don't sign the lease they still move for by charging you for storage unit you never used. Refuse to give u a refund. I will be contacting the better about that. Your lease a binding contract if don't sign it we don't have a contractual agreement on anything.)

I want to start off by saying the customer service Porsha was amazing. She was empathetic with my situation we shared experiences on the phone she was just great. Then I get to the store was unit the representative there I believe his name is Johnny I may have to come back and do an edit but he's the only person that I've seen there so when I tell you he was amazing I came in I said I got to make him smile cause it's almost time for the place to close so I walked in I said something to him and he just laughed so he was amazing he went above and beyond he did everything he was supposed to do and more. This guy is an angel seriously he was an angel that God sent my way. And please excuse me if I have the name incorrectly like I said I'll come back and do an edit but you know who you are if the name is incorrect. The only thing that I had a little issue with is the doorway to get to the lockers using the carts they have and the doorway the doorway has a step up now if you have boxes on top of the cart you now have to lift the boxes over this step and the door does not stay open and there's no door stopper soul and there's a railing outside so in order for you to like turn the car open the door lift it up on the steps it made it almost impossible. I think they need to reconsider it lowering that step making it flat get a door stopper or fix the door so I can stay open as we're getting the cart in because we're already going through enough putting things inside these lockers and now we have to worry about how we're going to put them in over this hump. I really don't want to complain because like I said it was a great experience, but I just think this is an issue that needs to be met when people are spending money ...storage units make plenty of money to have that fixed. And I only thought about what if somebody was Handicapable and they were in a wheelchair how are they going to get in. So I'm just asking if that one little simple thing can be fixed that would be great but other than that I had a great experience

Thomas was fantastic. Really professional, attentive, and patience. He took the time to show me the facilities, and answer any questions I had. Highly recommend the place. Customer service does makes a huge difference
