Do I need to take insurance, or can I be self-insured?

Our Occupancy Agreement requires that you maintain a policy of insurance for your stored goods. You may satisfy this requirement by participating in our Tenant Elite Protection Plan, which provides peace of mind knowing that the value of your items is covered in the event of Fire, Theft, Smoke, Wind Storm Damage, or Roof Leak. If you choose not to participate in our plan, you must provide proof of insurance for your goods.

Can I get a discount or a better rate by signing up for a longer term (e.g. one year)? 

If you're looking on our website, you're already getting the best available rate for storage at Brooklyn! We don't require a minimum stay, and the rate you're offered won't change for at least the first six months of occupancy!
