We keep our climate-controlled units 78°F in the summer and 55°F in the winter, not too hot and not too cold. Neither people nor possessions deal well with temperature fluctuations and there’s not much we can do about New York weather, but we can keep our facility's temperature under control year-round.
Smile for the camera! No matter what time of day or night you access our facility, our security cameras will be hard at work keeping watch over you and your possessions. We care about your safety and security.
New Yorkers lead busy lives, and that doesn’t always fit into normal business hours. You can access your self-storage unit at your convenience, whether day, night or weekend. We offer 24-hour access, so if you just sold that collectible thingy on eBay and need to ship it out first thing in the morning, we’ve got you covered.
Digital Security System
We use a digital security system with individual access codes.
If you need to use the elevator, you can do so without worry. Only people with a digital access code can use the elevator and our cameras will be keeping an eye on you anyway.
Sometimes you want to pull up, load and unload and get on with your day. Our Garden City location offers convenient drive up units so you can ditch the lawnmower and Adirondack chairs, grab the snowblower and inflatable Snoopy, Grinch and Hello Kitty and be on your way.
Interior Loading Area
Moving is a pain, but our interior loading area lets you stay comfortable indoors while you load and unload your possessions.
We allow for shipping and receiving of small packages for our customers. Have your items delivered to our address and we will hold them for you for 48 hours.
No-Contact Rental/Online Bill Pay
Weather outside is frightful, the Hallmark channel movie is on, and the last thing you want to do is schlep to a self-storage facility to rent a unit to store your stuff while you renovate. We understand that, so you can rent a unit, sign the contract digitally, view and pay your bill online while staying snug and warm at home.
Boxes, Packing and Moving Supplies
There is nothing worse than having the bottom of a purloined liquor box fall apart halfway through a move, and why is it always the books halfway up the stairs? You can level up your moving game with our full supply of moving boxes, packing supplies and tape. As an added bonus, it’s much easier to organize your unit with boxes that are the same size. Don't forget to label them!
Dollies and Hand Carts
Save your back, borrow our dolly or hand cart and roll your possessions to and from your unit.
Do you need something photocopied, or do you need to fax something? (Wait, really? People still fax? Huh.) You're in luck, because our office has a business center to help you out during regular business hours.
Did you know that your homeowners’ insurance may not cover your storage unit contents? We offer a storage protection plan and you can get between $2000-$5000 worth of protection for as little as $10 per month. Check out article on how to Gain Peace of Mind with Storage Unit Insurance to learn more.
Friendly, Knowledgeable Staff
Our staff can help you choose the right storage solution for your situation, lend you the tape gun or fax your documents for you. (Which could be quality entertainment because the younger staff might not know how to operate the fax machine.) We are confident that our staff are the best in the business.

If you’re moving to Garden City, there are few laws you need to follow. For example, you are not allowed to possess or consume alcoholic beverages on public property, so leave the champagne at home if you’re planning a romantic picnic. You're also not allowed to own chickens, ducks, poultry, pigeons, reptiles, rodents or livestock, but dogs are fine as long as they are licensed and you stoop to clean up their poop. There’s no word about owning cats, but really, cats own us anyway.
There is no parking on the street between 2:00-6:00 a.m., so you'd be wise to head home.
The village does have a Resident Handbook that is presented to all new residents. It still lists a fax number, and hasn’t been updated in 30 years according to a note on the village website, but hey, you never know—it could come in handy.
