I'm giving this place four stars because it's so darn creepy and yet so awesome. It might be by a metal scrap yard, down a dead end street, across the tracks from the metro north, and generally shady (abandoned delivery trucks, also saw a random clown service), but storage here is half of what you pay at Manhattan mini and they have the most flexible access hours.

I have a very good opinion of Sofia Storage. The staff is very helpful and friendly and I haven't had any difficulty at all with dropping boxes off and Ron and Francis have always been very friendly and helpful moving them. The facility is clean and I have stored with them now for over a year!

A great place for your storage needs but their pricing is high every few months; they go up a few dollars more need be.

The space is reasonably priced and seems secure. I moved things in today and was disappointed by the lack of carts large enough to accommodate the pieces I was moving. Also, the elevator closed too quickly for me to get things in. I had to get someone to help.

Everything was good. All was explained to me and it all went smoothly.

Nice structure

This location is very new (and, in fact, still partially under construction at this time), but thanks to that they offer some great rates on storage. Very accessible by road (just a block from the Bruckner off-ramp of the Willis Ave Bridge), though not as much by train — it's about a half-mile walk from the nearest #6 stop. The layout is a little overcrowded and maze-like, with some levels having steel grid deck "floors" and some units being tricky to access. (Entrances around corners, doors that swing open into the accessway, etc.) So, depending on where in the facility your unit is located, it can be tricky to store larger items or move a lot of stuff in and out. But especially for lighter, more compact storage needs, Storage Post can be a great resource and the price is right!

Clean and very big safe place to be

The gentleman that called me after I made the reservation was very professional and courteous. I haven’t gotten my items in the storage yet but what I have experienced so far I like!!!! ??
