Bruckner Blvd Amenities

Our Bruckner Blvd location in The Bronx, New York, has a variety of self-storage sizes, from lockers to extra large 23’ x 25’ units. This location features a number of amenities to make things easy for you to safeguard your possessions.

Daily Access

We are open 7 days a week, so you can get into your unit at a convenient time for you.

Climate-Controlled Units

You’ve entrusted your possessions to us for safekeeping, and we will pamper them like they were our own. The Bronx weather will hit you with all four seasons, and temperature extremes aren’t good for most possessions. We’ve got you covered with climate-controlled units that stay between 55°F and 78°F year-round to keep things warm in winter and cool in the summer.

Security Cameras

Smile, baby! Our security cameras are strategically placed to record everything that goes on, and they run 24/7/365, we record everything. If anyone tries something shady, we will see them.

Security system

Our digital security system keeps track of every one with individual security codes. It’s another way we keep your possessions safe and secure. Our facility is also fenced and gated. No code, no entry, and no sneaking in after someone else either.

Online bill pay

We are all busy these days, so you can view and pay your bill online from the comfort of your home. No socks (or even pants) required.

Free Wi-Fi

We offer free Wi-Fi at our facility, so if you need to send us an email, check the score of the game or bribe the teenager who is “helping” you move boxes, we’ve taken care of it.

Boxes, Packing and Moving Supplies

Most people have done at least one move with boxes acquired from liquor and grocery stores. It’s much easier to organize your unit when all the boxes are new, clean and the same size. We have all the supplies you need to make moving a little easier, without that funky old box smell.

Interior Units

Our interior storage units can only be accessed from secured hallways that require a passcode to enter. It’s an added bit of safety.

Motion-Activated Lighting

You light up the place! No really, you light it up, or at least we do. All our interior hallways have bright motion-activated lighting to keep you safe.

Call Boxes and Intercoms

If you run into a problem or have a question, you can reach our friendly storage experts without leaving your unit. We have call boxes and intercoms in each unit.

Covered and Elevated Loading Areas

You know Murphy’s law, and moving means it will be raining or snowing when you are moving your stuff in and out. We have covered areas to protect you from the weather while loading or unloading, and an elevated loading area lets you unload from truck to platform without hurting yourself or your helpers.

We have elevators to save you lugging things up and down stairs, and they are all security code-controlled.

Dollies and Handcarts

Why carry when you can roll or push? Borrow a dolly or handcart.

Free Truck and Shuttle Service

Parking and moving in The Bronx can be a challenge. We offer a free truck and shuttle service. Give us a call to discuss the details, since certain conditions apply. Free truck and shuttle service is in lieu of all other discounts and promotions. Please contact our moving specialist for details, 1-888-741-0976.

Commercial Accounts Accepted

We are happy to work with commercial customers as well as individuals.

On-Site Parking

No circling the block waiting for someone to leave since we have on-site parking.

Month-to-Month Rentals

Need space for a reno at home? Need a place to keep your dorm room decor over the summer or while you are figuring out the next part of your life? We offer both short and long-term rentals to help you out.

What’s it Like Around Bruckner Blvd. / The Bronx, New York?

Our Bruckner Blvd. Storage Post location is in the South Bronx, and you’d better be a Yankees fan if you live there. Fans of the Yankees are known as the Bleacher Creatures (because seats behind the batter’s box are a bit pricey…) and they don’t take kindly to fans of other teams, even the cross-town rivals, The Mets. If you wear a different jersey on game day, prepare to be heckled.

The area is also the home of the Bronx Zoo, if different creatures are more your thing.

Like most of the northern U.S., The Bronx experiences all four seasons of weather. Summers are stupid hot. Winters are stupid cold. Only thing people from the Bronx like to complain about more than the weather is sports.

The Bronx has 1.4 million people, which poses some unique storage challenges. We’ve looked at some of the Best Neighborhoods in The Bronx. It’s a pretty diverse borough of New York City, with 56% identifying as Hispanic, 29% identifying as Black, almost 9% identifying as White and almost 4% identifying as Asian.

Why Storage Post?

Safety and Security

We care about your safety, and the safety of your possessions while they are in our self-storage facility. We have 24-hour security cameras, a fenced and gated facility and access control through personal access codes. We also have motion-activated lights.

Nobody likes surprises, so you know upfront what your unit is going to cost, all-in. We don’t believe in hiding extra charges and fees. We offer competitive pricing, no-nonsense online invoices and staff who can answer your questions.

Neat and Clean

We work hard to keep our facility neat and clean, and we actively discourage unwanted pests and creepy crawlies. We take the “no food” rule very seriously, so the rats can just fuhgeddaboudit.

Helpful Staff

Our staff know about storage, and are happy to help you choose the right unit for your needs, answer any questions you might have along the way. We can lend you a tape gun, a dolly or some packing paper, answer questions about your bill and get you set your account up online.

Local Knowledge

Wondering how to avoid the tolls? How to follow Google Map directions so you don’t have to go through Jersey to get to the Bronx? Or how to smuggle your Mets memorabilia into our unit? We got you covered. We know our neighborhood, and we are here to help. If you need help getting the mustard stain out of that jersey, you’re out of luck.
