Our Fordham Rd, Bronx, New York location has a variety of self-storage sizes, from 5’x 5’ lockers and small self-storage units to extra large 10’ x 30’ units. Plus you can store your boat, camper, RV or beater winter car in the off-season in one of our rental parking spaces.

Digital Security System

When you rent a self-storage unit from us, we will assign you with your own personal digital access code. It will give you access to the gate, the facility and your unit. It’s one of our security features designed to keep you safe and allow us to keep track of who is using our facility at all times. 

Covered Indoor Loading Areas

There’s not much we can do to control the weather, but we can keep you out of it while you move your possessions. We have covered indoor loading areas to keep the weather out while you move in or out.

Door Alarms 

Our self-storage units are equipped with alarms that are deactivated with your digital access code. If no code is entered, the loud noise continues. It’s another way we keep you and your possessions safe. 

Drive-Up Units

We get it, you’re busy, and who wants to schlep garden equipment and pool floaties up and down stairs? That's why we have convenient drive-up units that let you pull right up to your unit, load or unload straight from your vehicle and be on your way again. 

Fenced and Gated 

Our Fordham Rd, Bronx location is fenced and gated, and access is available only with an access code. There’s lots of parking spaces on site, as well as rental parking, and drive-up units that make life easier. Anyone who has ever had to find parking in the Bronx knows convenient parking is kind of a big deal. 

Online Bill Pay

Checks are so last century, ya know? You can see your bill and pay it online from the comfort of your living room. Pants are optional. We don’t judge.

Shuttle Service

When you are new to the area, especially if you have moved from another state, it can be tough to find people to help you move. Luckily, we offer a free truck and shuttle service to our facility. Our staff can give you all the details. 

Friendly, Knowledgeable Staff

Our staff can help you out with everything from finding the right sized unit, to borrowing the dolly or tape gun, to explaining the shuttle service or sharing the inside scoop on the best nearby pizza place. 

Getting to Our Fordham Rd, Bronx, New York, Location

We are right off Major Deegan Expressway, tucked under the 207th Bridge. If you’re coming from Manhattan, take NY-9A N, then take exit 14 for W 178 St toward I-95 N. Keep left, follow signs for I-95 N/Cr Bronx Expressway and merge onto I-95 Lower Level/Trans-Manhattan Expressway/U.S. 1 Lower Level. It veers slightly right and becomes I-95N. Take exit 1C-D to merge onto I-87 N toward Albany. Take exit 9 for W Fordham Rd toward University Heights Bridge. Drive to Exterior St, then turn left onto W Fordham Rd. 

If you’re coming from Parkchester, turn right onto PV2 Isaac T. Cortes Way/Unionport Rd, take a slight right and then a slight left onto Metropolitan Oval, slight right onto Unionport Rd, slight right onto White Plains Rd. Turn left onto Bronxdale Ave, which becomes Bronx Park E. Continue onto Boston Rd, then turn left onto Bronx and Pelham Parkway. Continue onto E Fordham Rd, drive to Exeter St. 

If you’re coming from Spuyten Duyvil, take the Henry Hudson Parkway East, and then merge onto the NY-9A N/H Hudson Parkway ramp on the left to Yonkers. Continue onto Henry Hudson Parkway, take exit 24 to merge onto Mosholu Parkway. Giggle at GPS pronunciation. Take the I-87 S/Deegan Expressway exit toward Triboro Bridge, take exit 9 for W Fordham Rd/University Heights Bridge. Turn right onto W Fordham Rd/University Heights Bridge, slight right onto Exterior St, then turn left to stay on Exterior St.

What’s it Like in Fordham, Bronx, New York?

The Fordham neighborhood in the Bronx is a walk on the wild side, since it’s the home of the Bronx Zoo and the New York Botanical Gardens. Edgar Allan Poe spent the last years of his life in Fordham, in the Edgar Allan Poe cottage, although it probably wasn’t called that at the time because that would have been weird. He wrote Annabel Lee in Fordham. 

Alan Alda went to Fordham U, and so did Denzel Washington, Dylan McDermott and David Copperfield. Amanda Seyfried was supposed to go to Fordham, but she got the part in Mean Girls and was outta there. gives Fordham top marks for diversity, outdoor life and nightlife. Ninety-seven percent of residents rent, which isn’t surprising since it’s a college town, and the average rent is $1,243. Thirty-seven percent of families have kids.
