I rented a unit for my college student. The first three times he went during business hours the office wasn't open and we hadn't received a building access code in any of the confirmation emails. I was finally able to reach the manager at this location by going through the sales option who connected me. All is fixed now, but it was a very frustrating start!

Moving was easy and storage unit is clean and great with security. Now that employee in the front desk! Smh Not that it was entirely his fault… Your Employer should have at least 2 ppl working in the front desk AT ALL TIMES!! Especially if you have ppl walking in at all hours. It relieves them for breaks, lunch & bathroom breaks and it won’t leave customers OUTSIDE FREEZING ufor an hour till someone comes back.. smh not cool at all.

Hard to get a big truck in and out like a Uhaul, if u pass a certain section there's a gate and u can't get out, there are roaches, would like if they got the storages sprayed for roaches, mice and things like that otherwise it looks ok

My only issue with this company is the problem with the access code to enter the facility Mine almost always didn’t work so when I would go when the store was closed, I would have to wait until the store opened for them to fix the problem with my access code which was very frustrating

I had a storage room with this company before and everything went well as far as getting the room etc etc .My only problem that I endured was with the access code that almost never worked which was very frustrating when I would go during access hour and the store wasn’t open yet I would usually have to wait until the store open and then they would fix whatever the problem was but but that was very important for me . J also had a storage at another location and I experienced the same issue which was worse because they access hours were from 6 am and the store didn’t open til 9 am . so they were many times I went to go to my storage room at 6 AM and my access code didn’t work which means I was not able to get in to my storage room and get my stuff so which means I had to wait until 9 o’clock until they open the office to speak to someone so they could fix the problem. That was very frustrating - so am I saying that what happened to everyone? But I happened to meet several different times at two different locations so I learned never to go before the store opens because I might be locked out because my access code isn’t working at the moment. so I can honestly say the process of getting a storage room is fine, but the access code issue I would not recommend this storage company due to that issue. Also if you are late one day with making a payment, the late fee is $15 and then one week after it’s an additional $30 which I think just isn’t fair.

They give zero leeway the same day payment is due if you don't pay by tge end of the day they're already locking you out and tacking on late fees. They also have these people that come in with tractor trailers that block up everything. There's been numerous times I couldn't get out the facility because there we're people unloading appliances and just putting them any and everywhere blocking the way to exit. I call the office to let them know and nothing gets done. It's a constant problem in the Perth Amboy facility.

The working from home customer service needs to be canceled. The few females I've talked to were very nasty and rude. One female you could damn near here her rolling around in her bed, her name started with an R. I think she said Rayann. She was being a smart ass, real attitudy like she had a problem with me asking questions. She wouldn't have dared been rude like that to me in person. On the other had I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Eric as well, I spoke to him over the phone a few times and he was always helpful, never sounding like he's under the covers in the bed, and he was never rude once. If ever I need to speak to customer service again, I hope the guy Eric answers the call. He knows how to work from home doing customer service. Thank you Eric your customer relations skills are a 10. Everytime someone gives a not so great review, they always respond back saying we have no record of you being a customer. But you got a record of accepting my money for the past five years. This company needs better customer service amongst other things.

I'm updating my review because the management reached out to me about the issue and wanted to take responsibility. They have offered a partial refund. They acknowledged there was a disconnect and said they would address it. I appreciated the effort. This place has been a challenge from day 1. I was told it was air conditioned, it was not. When we went to get our stuff, it was covered in mouse feces and roaches. I rented it for 3 months, and I guess the end of the month to them is the 29th and not the end of the month.
